National MP Tau Henare has apologised for saying he had little 
sympathy for a worker who cleaned more than 100 toilets a night at 
Parliament for little pay.Vinyl records continue to succeed despite the

yesterday about a submitter to a select committee, who had told MPs of 
the difficulty of her work.Cleaner Mareta Sinoti made a tearful plea to 
the committee not to proceed with wide-ranging employment law 
reforms.She said she was doing the work of many people and cleaned up to

job?"Labour Party spokesman for Labour issues Andrew Little said Mr 
Henare's comments reflected the attitude of many employers."It is a 
culture in a lot of workplaces now - 'If you don't like it, just leave 
and go somewhere else'. That's not an answer.According to the

He said Mr Henare's comments were "sad" because the
